Jason Jackson, Msc Nutrition Science
Over a 16-year career as Third Space’s top trainer, Director of Nutrition at the Advanced Coaching Academy and Performance Nutritionist at Millwall football club, Jason has observed his colleagues struggle to achieve results – despite the cumulative hours of coaching with each client.
Jason walks a fine line between educator and practitioner. He wrote the behaviour change framework for Pure Gym, Europe’s largest personal training operator, has delivered behaviour change seminars at SATS health club in Denmark, St Mary’s University in England, and Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, yet still finds time to write his PhD thesis on coaching behaviour change. Having identified a gap in the research, Jason is designing an evidence-based model to raise the standard of personal training. Jason will translate the latest, most relevant and impactful scientific literature into actionable tools for personal trainers and explore how behavioural science can be applied to real-world situations.
